What Does FD Beck Home & Contents Insurance cover?

The Accidental Damage cover is the top of the range, which includes accidental loss or damage to building and contents inside the home and also away from the home with some sub limits.

The Listed Events cover is a step down from Accidental Damage but still covers such losses as Fire, Storm, and Burglary. No cover for losses away from the home.

The Listed Events Base is another step down and has more restrictions and is similar to cover offered by some of the Direct Insurers.

What Isn’t Normally Covered?

Each Policy is different is different, but generally you wont be covered for the following:

If your property is unoccupied for more than 90 days continuously
2
Damage (structural or cosmetic) by result of animal or insect
3
Corrosion or rust damage
4
General wear & tear
